Started on Thursday
The ache that became intense
Sleep deprivation, riveting pain
Growing nausea, brain busting

Friday, more of the same
Take a hatchet to my head
No! Take pain killers instead
No let up in the ache

Weekend infuriation, roll on Monday
Call for assistance, for the persistence
Drill and big needle to the area
Temporary rest, then different ache
What‘s going on for goodness sake?

Call for another dental appointment fast
In 19 days! You’re having a laugh
Suicidal ache, seven days in
Treatment forth coming, can’t wait, swollen grin
