I'm not afraid to lose
I'm not afraid of love
it's the thought of being used

it seems to come to mind
when someone gets inside my heart
so I've stored it in a box
so it wont get torn apart

this box is made of steal
with cotton deep inside
so if my heart's to bleed
it wont leak away my pride

storing all emotion's
& hiding them so well
they have a story of there own
but they refuse to tell

of many heart desaster's
most eye's will never see
the life inside this poet
or the poet inside of me
