In love I am the charcoal
Set in bitter burning rage

I am her eyes her sight
I am her throat, mute
And cast upon this page
Of passion and desire

I am the barren uterus
The frayed and swollen labium
I am the vomit of her wounds
I am the taste of her on his lips
I am the taste of her
His Seed!

I am the bruise
I am the memory

I am her lonely, broken night
I am her fear, her vanity
I am her love

I am her love
Her love is a leech
Her love is her grief
Her sanity

I am the bite of her knife
I am the nick and cut
I am the pleasure
The cigarette searing
Setting her flesh

I am loved

In love I am a liar
In love I am the charcoal
