the streets they are quiet
there's no one around
the feelings uneasy we've all gone to ground
the tv it tells us
terror is rife
they're spreading the fear
they're holding the knife

the media savvy
they don't read the news
they just look on twitter
for a series of views
switch on the telly for a melllay of stats
don't drink smoke or party
and don't get too fat

lock all your doors
let no one in
shred all your stuff
they've been through your bin
