Said her dad loading up the jeep
Stay true to everything you are
On this day your mother wished she’d see

Keep your head on the horizon
And the sun will always set for you
When world tries hard to drag you down
Remember those three words are always true

So take a chance even if you fail
This life is too short to be crying
Because she's looking down from heaven
And without a doubt I know she’s smiling

Beyond the hills of Tennessee
The car’s packed, here’s the roadmap

Elizabeth you’re going to go far
Said her dad loading up the jeep
Stay true to everything you are
