While our leaders pockets are filling
The world grows ever more silent
Then the world erupts, suddenly violent
Hostile nations make threats to kill
We are thrown into war against our will
Making this once peaceful place stir
Making peace and love slowly deter
Hopefully we can defend against these blows
What will happen, no one yet knows
But there is a day that will play
And we will run every which way
As atlas cries in pain from all his wounds
wounds that we inflicted
Our own fury and destruction shall be reflected
Throwing the weight of the world on our shoulders
Will humans rise from the ashes

This world has seen its share killing
While our leaders pockets are filling
The world grows ever more silent
Then the world erupts, suddenly violent
Hostile nations make threats to kill
We are thrown into war against our will
Making this once peaceful place stir
Making peace and love slowly deter
Hopefully we can defend against these blows
What will happen, no one yet knows
But there is a day that will play
And we will run every which way
As atlas cries in pain from all his wounds
wounds that we inflicted
Our own fury and destruction shall be reflected
Throwing the weight of the world on our shoulders
Will humans rise from the ashes
Live from the smolders
