Weaving my own spiral
Downward into an abyss
Further and further I sink
Endless hope
An abundance of despair awaits
Taking hold of my thoughts
Controlling my actions
All the while
Squeezing the life from my soul
Making for a sad ending with no where new to begin

In this emptiness
I hope to find my self again
To gain some insight
Establish perspective
Build confidence
Raise self capital
So that I can
Accept my reality
Which is
Perpetually constant
Changing inconspicuously
Always
Leaving me behind
Outsmarting my emotions
Toying with my sanity
Avenging for my past misbehaviors
My psyche on fire
Raging with desire
Complete with strife
A double edge knife
Providing no response
To the one and only question
How did I get to this point in time?

Spinning out of control
Weaving my own spiral
