Sometimes dragging you across the land.
You pass torrential rain.
The cold brings pain.
Then it slows down.
Allowing your feet to touch ground.
You see the sunlight.
Your emotions take flight.
Again you can smile.
If just for a while.
Then again you feel your hand been grasped.
But in you heart you know the next storm won't last.
That is what life does to us.
Don't panic don't make a fuss.
Just go with the flow.
And in your heart know.
That you are not alone.
We all sometimes carry a stone.

Life takes you by the hand.
