[bodytext] => “Open the door, that sets you free!”
Shouted your conscience days ago.
Astounded and awed you stood in the dark,
as the wings of pain took you high.
The landing soft, on soil wet.
Your wings were clipped, gone for good.
In agony you reach out for help,
But Gods now frown upon your calling.
A tainted smile, a tainted soul,
You raised your voice and looked above.
How ugly is this misery you thought,
The suffer of the why all so tormenting.
Fractured innocence shows the way,
You crawl through sins and reminisce.
Quiet and eerie your presence lingers,
To find vengeance for all that’s lost.
Engraved on a marble stone,
Your name fails to impress.
Lady in purple diamond tears,
humming now your final lullaby.
One with your fears, your everlasting pain,
For change you sook that didn’t change a thing.
Whichever vengeance it is you wanted,
I tell you, listen, it didn’t change a thing.
