It's what keeps me coming back to memories that cause me to break down. It's the hope for magic or miracles that keeps me hanging on. But inside I know there is no truth to it.

It's the hope for your words that keeps me breathing. As sad as it is, it's true. And as soon as I let go of that hope, will I have anything left to fall back on? Or will I quit hanging on to everything else when I let go of you?

Is there hope for another light to shine here? Will I ever find another half to fit my empty heart?
Or will it remain incomplete as I'm forever lost in the dark?

Someday it will all become grains of sand that fall away to count down to the end of my hopes...
