[hometext] => Finding Yourself is a poem about societies expectations of young adults
[bodytext] => Finding Yourself
Finding Yourself has never been easy
Learning their purpose, well most become queasy.
When faced with the facts, they become less relaxed.
Their real purpose, it seems, was putting on slacks!
But don't fret and don't worry;
There's plenty of time
No need to hurry,
don't guzzle the wine.
When you learn to be patient and just try being you,
you'll realize that in life, there's plenty to do.
There's no one personality type that you are stuck being
choose to act like the hero in that movie you just were seeing...
When push comes to shove,
What's most important is love.
with your family and friends
so don't quarrel; make amends!
Life is just a short and painful trip
If you are always worried about being young, good looking or "hip"
So put yourself in the shoes of others,
learn all you can, and hug your mothers
Though Finding yourself is a task that haunts us
We're constantly changing, but no worries, be dauntless
It's ok for you to not know who you are for sure,
just be a good person, do unto others, do not immure.
We just have the 1 life; so don't worry about cash
Play, laugh, and love, or it'll be over in a flash.
