The sweet nectar of life.
Cures all ails and strife.
Not very hard to brew.
The best remedy for you.
Take the time and see.
It's not hard to find the recipe.
It's written in a book called the Bible.
Don't divert this is vital.
In life we all have a quest.
Searching for fame and fortune damn the rest.

Yet those are worldly things.
And truly what joy does it bring.
On earth it might make you happy.
Yet for true joy I'd trade them gladly.
Because life eternal is what we should seek.
Without it your life will be bleak.
So the recipe don't forget.
Serious you won't even break a sweat.

You shall have no other gods before Me.
That Porsche and the house by the sea.
You shall not make idols.
This will jeopardise your survival.
You shall not use the LORD your God's name in vain.
This will bring God's anger down like rain.
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
This day exclusively for God's Glory.
Honour your father and your mother.
This teaches respect for one another.
You shall not murder.
If you do Lucifer will be your warder.
You shall not commit adultery.
It will render you untrustworthy.
You shall not steal.
If I stole your stuff how would you feel?
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.
With God this will bring you no favour.
You shall not covet.
Live within your budget.

These are holy guidelines.
Not worthless sidelines.
They teach us how to live.
What to expect and what to give.
The most comprehensive set of laws.
Not like those set out by man riddled with flaws.
Follow them to the letter.
And taste life's sweet nectar.
