[title] => Our Future Is Weak
[time] => 2014-12-03 02:20:03
[hometext] =>
[bodytext] => Stepping back into the future
the past is full of tears
So much sadness
because of how much has changed over the years
Confused
about where my mind needs to be
It travels through time
trying to understand everything that should mean something to me
The past, the present, and the future
they all play a role in this life we live
What we all see in our travels
offers us a unique message to give
Our future is weak
if we only allow it to be
Without learning lessons from our past
and opening our minds to truly see
I step back into the future
bringing knowledge from the past
Trying to send a message
to a society that is so vast
It was our past
it is our present and will be our future, you see
We have to be willing to stand together
if we want our country to remain free
Whatever your race or your color
love your neighbor as a friend
We all need to think of future generations
to you all, this message I send
Take a few moments
think about how life could really be
If we stopped all the hatred
to build a prosperous future for our children to see
