I'll just wash dishes and linens press-
is there more I should expect?
Of Rumi's joy in breathing, and stars,
a thousand sparks of dancing embers-
mayhap, this perchance, is that I should embrace,
remember?
Life is not a Hardy novel,
much as we should wish-
Victorian in splendor, a tasty English dish.
Bronte; Emily or Charlotte?
Oh, Lord, am I a buried Harlot?
in lust with Life and love of Love-
full circle, Rumi floats above with Shams
(I wish I had such friends)
to dance in fire and burn my hem,
lost in desire and letting go-
what that minstrel of the soul did know-
my id is learning once again,
another round, (take it slow)
'ere to Heaven I ascend.

In Dreiser dreariness I'm tempted to accept
I'll just wash dishes and linens press-
is there more I should expect?
Of Rumi's joy in breathing, and stars,
a thousand sparks of dancing embers-
mayhap, this perchance, is that I should embrace,
remember?
Life is not a Hardy novel,
much as we should wish-
Victorian in splendor, a tasty English dish.

Oh, Lord, am I a buried Harlot?
in lust with Life and love of Love-
full circle, Rumi floats above with Shams
(I wish I had such friends)
to dance in fire and burn my hem,
lost in desire and letting go-
what that minstrel of the soul did know-
my id is learning once again,
another round, (take it slow)
'ere to Heaven I ascend.
