Stunned by the raw beauty of the moment she sits with me wearing no shoes but socks and a blouse, soft reggae plays in the darkness we have no food we have no drugs we have no cigarettes or tobacco and together we sit, both of us depressed but we have each other, for this moment we have each other and she talks to me, we talk about life. She talks to me about her life and not by the words she says but rather in the texture of her voice which says them I somehow feel her pain and in my feeling of it soothes her and we talk and heal each other, each other in this moment is all we have. Reggae basslines gently pulsing through our skin no tears are shed but believe me we are crying and my shoulders become more heavy I try to carry half her burden, her shoulders are more delicate than mine so I lend her mine to lean on. I do my best to feel har pain so as to take it from her she does not deserve to feel such pain as this so I try to be her bliss. I feel the beauty of this moment and I explain it to her, she chuckles, I glimpse a smile instantaneously appear on her delicate pretty face. I have helped her somehow and I know it, she doesn't even realise it but she has healed me more than any medicine ever could and this is why I love her, we sat and talked and everything even the silence was understood, she is the only creature not a cat who ever understands like that. Just stunned by the beauty of the moment and I understood I completely understand, I love her for she stopped me going mad and together we just sat.
