Topic: Sad Poetry

tonight i sit and listen to the crickets sing
my heart is grateful for things life brings
one lone voice speaks now in the wilderness
indeed silence breathes through the darkness,

only a slight breeze stirs- then a frogs voice
a cacophony of noise clamors into a chorus
rowdy fellows of the night as croaking soars
crickets join in song- night in glorious uproar!
