And we are two parts of the earth
You go around the hemispheres
You show your face to one and hide it from the other
Come and go, come and go
I see you now, and later it’s her turn, but you go back
And you move my waters, and you make my tides come and go
Come and go, waiting for you
My wolves are singing to your pale eyes, my heart wants to fly and warm in your light
But it cannot
I can only see your silvery face every night
And dream about it when you show it to the other

You are this boy living on the moon
Who left the earth and got lost in the space
You were looking for your hemisphere, but found another
So alike in a way
You look at them both at different times of the day
Show your silvery face and smile
And our wolves are singing to you, and our tides move with you
Longing that one day you will choose to come down

And you will eventually
But were will you land?
On the new ground? that you know so little but loved so much
Or will you go back to your old land?
That you know so well and loved so much,
The one which you let yourself to get lost from

And I am the new land, I am the other hemisphere
And my wolves are singing to your silvery face and crying
And my tides move so abruptly fearing it is the last time they feel your magic
And birds in my trees chant a lovely sirens’ song
Come, come, come little boy…
And don’t go

And I am this girl from the other hemisphere
The one that looks at the moon every day
And sings Sinatra
Knowing that only Gagarin was able to reach the moon…
