One traveling amongst the cosmos,
Seeking out throughout these gleaming stars,
Just one brilliant shard, to match one's eager heart.

To love? This exquisite daring feat?
Dancing with a sword in hand, finesse.
Shall one succeed, two entities mesh, blur in grace.
Shall one fail, well the error will leave a grisly scar.

When one forgives and sacrifices?
Beckons the joy of one other, with understanding,
One then can see the smiles of others, with the numbing of pain.
A reflection of mimicry, exponential progress.

When we come together, in efforts to care?
When we take this anxious effort, and simply even dare?
We can do any number of these things,
And all that lies between. To live, to describe such a thing?
One traveling amongst the cosmos,
Seeking out throughout these gleaming stars,
