I don’t know why I feel this way,
I love the night as well as day
the brilliant sun,
the cold bright moon;
midnight stars
and shadowed noon.

seasons, in their lovely clime,
mountain ranges capped in mist
clouds parading over time,
vistas I cannot resist.

I don’t know why I feel this way,
the sea in me is here to stay
while desert winds were my first breath,
I’ll love it all till my last rest.

even if it goes away,
I’m blessed with each and every day
I just hope that it will stay,
so I can always feel this way.
