"A Skype story like no other."<br />

Scene 1:<br />
( Aidan is sleeping while his Skype is still on ( Away ) status. All of a sudden he is awoken and startled by an incoming Skype call.  In a sour mood to be awoken from his sleep, he looks at his laptop screen. He smiles as his anger washes away and turns into joy and happiness when the incoming call was coming from his best friend, Rachel. He then picks up the Skype call.<br />

Rachel:	Hey Aidan! Uhhh my bad. Good morning Aidan! LOL<br />
<br />
Aidan:	( sarcastically) Good morning you cruel, evil woman.<br />
<br />
Rachel:	Hey! What’d I do? Is that really how you say good morning to your best friend?	<br />
<br />
Aidan:	Sorry Rach. I just didn’t get any sleep these past 5 days.<br />
<br />
Rachel:	You’re DUMB. Why didn’t you get any sleep these past days?<br />
<br />
Aidan:	Gods Rachel, it’s a lot to explain. I’m being sent to military school and I just don’t know how I am going to keep in contact with you for like 6 ½ weeks.<br />

Rachel:	( Surprised ) Me?...<br />
<br />
Aidan:	( Suddenly reacts nervous and starts rambling ) Uhhhhhh… Yeah you… Wait what?... oh *****. Of course you… AND the whole fam ahahahahahahahahahahaha ( laughing nervously ).<br />
<br />
Rachel:	 ( Rolls her eyes ) Hoooookaaaaayyy aha. Well I don’t know if there’s another way since you don’t have access to the Internet.<br />
<br />
Aidan: 	( Thinking to himself ) Why don’t you just do it? ***** no! You think I’d be stupid enough to go for a long shot like that? When you are fighting in war, you will have to make long shots. But… how is this a war? Love is a war. And it’s time you act like a United States Marine, and take the shot.<br />

Aidan:	( deeply inhales and exhales ) Rachel… would you write to me?<br />
<br />
Rachel:	( suddenly surprised ) What?...<br />
<br />
Aidan:	( thinking to himself ) Take the shot.<br />
<br />
Aidan:	Would you want to write to me while I’m stationed at the military base? It’s the only way I can think of to keep in contact. ( suddenly stutter ) Unless you don’t want to! Uhhhh. ( nervous laughter ) Hahahahaha. You don’t have to if  you don’t want to…<br />

Rachel:	( Rolls her eyes ) You’re a dork. Of course I’ll write to you! Heck, why didn’t I think of that? Aha.<br />
<br />
Aidan:	( timidly ) Really?....<br />
<br />
Rachel:	Yeah of course! But you better write me back! <br />
<br />
Aidan:	I promise if you write to me I will write back to you whenever I can. I swear it on the River Styx.<br />
<br />
Rachel:	( laughs ) You are such a book worm. In other words you’re such a NERD. LOL<br />
<br />
( Both laugh )<br />

( Awkward silence  for approximately 4 seconds ) <br />
<br />
Rachel:	Oh Gods. I gotta go. Going to a Big Bang concert with the fam.<br />
<br />
Aidan: 	Wish I could be there. ( quickly adds ) For Big Bang of course!     (nervous laughter) Ahahahahahahahahahaha  <br />

Aiden:	Maybe we can Skype with the fam tomorrow or something?... Maybe?<br />
<br />
Rachel: 	 ( Rolls her eyes ) You’re so DUMB.<br />

Rachel:	Sure aha.<br />

Rachel:	( Smiles and waves at the web cam ) Bye Aidan!!!<br />

Aidan:	( Smiles and waves back at the web cam ) Bye best friend!!!<br />
