Where the chains do not bind me to me
I can be free of the darkness within
And live a life free of sin
Somewhere over the rainbow is a big pot of gold
Where fanciness and riches lie, truth be told
All I want though is a life free from me
Where I can be myself; cherished and free
Somewhere over the rainbow is a giant looking glass
Where I can look at myself and truely ask,
"What the hell have you done with yourself
you put the real you up on the shelf?"
Somewhere over the rainbow was a little girl
Who was someone and had the whole world
Until she fell into a deep, dark pit
And loved herself in spite of it [comments] => 1 [counter] => 110 [topic] => 52 [informant] => FireStarter [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => goodbyepoetry ) Your Poetry Dot Com - Somewhere over the rainbow

Somewhere over the rainbow I can be free
And loved herself in spite of it
