My head hurt, and my mood was dour
I didn/'/t know the fields so well...
all I needed was the silence to quell
Left alone with endless thoughts,
raging in my mind, turning into knots
I needed something to drown out the voice,
telling me that there wasn/'/t a choice.
I ran over a river that was rushing,
the silence, the voice...was crushing
The water burning into my veins
so cold, so cold...breaking the chains
I finally had the noise to break the silence
noise is not timeless
It can be lost
...make you fall down into your thoughts. I got lost in the midnight hour
My head hurt, and my mood was dour
I didn/'/t know the fields so well...
all I needed was the silence to quell
Left alone with endless thoughts,
raging in my mind, turning into knots
I needed something to drown out the voice,
telling me that there wasn/'/t a choice.
I ran over a river that was rushing,
the silence, the voice...was crushing
The water burning into my veins
so cold, so cold...breaking the chains
I finally had the noise to break the silence
noise is not timeless
It can be lost
...make you fall down into your thoughts.
