Another trail of tears
roll down the cheeks of my face
As I watch the everyday destruction
within the human race

The sadness
it churns emotions within
I find myself shedding tears
over and over again

Having served
with men and women of the very best
With serious emotion
I cannot forget men and women laid to rest

So many young people
of the generation today
Fighting for causes without a clue
they’ve been given the right to say what they say

It is so sad that they abuse those rights
when they stand on, or our flag they burn
They have no respect instilled
this makes my emotions ever so churn

It is so sad to watch
the demise of a country once so great
It is now being divided
between color and hate

Where will it all end
what will the fate of our country be
Will our freedoms be lost in vain
degrading honor of those who have fought for you and me
