[hometext] => Your 30 years of Fame...
[bodytext] => The older we get, the more we forget;
Or rather, the less we recall!
There’s more gaps and spaces,
Between names and faces;
So who can keep track of it all?
When I was a new hire; I spread like a wildfire;
But now I’ve a new kind of fame;!
It takes me so long, getting where I belong;
That frankly, theyre stunned that I came!
So I’ve turned in my watch; tugged my belt up a notch;
To spend lazy days in my garden!
Take a walk with my dog, or saw off a log;
Content to leave others the stardom!
Renowned when we’re hired;
Alas, when retired;
You instantly forfeit your fame;
The business goes on;
Friends say when we’ve gone;
I sure miss good old whats-her-name!
