[title] => This Hungry Love
[time] => 2016-06-12 05:17:26
[hometext] => A feeble attempt to define my love
[bodytext] =>
No sweeter music finds my ears
than your laugh;
no look from anyone before or since my birth
has tugged my heart in such delightful ways.
Your openness and submission of being humbles me
with the trust in us you/'/ve placed.
This hungry love that expands in your presence,
bursting from this dismal sea I/'/ve swam in,
drys the dank life waters in an instant
to bathe in the glow of you.
Until us came to be, I never realized love has plateaus,
levels of depth that ascend to the finest life offers;
coital relations dim in the brilliance of
this love so pure,
the intoxication
renders the world a mocking faded image
of what I now know life can be,
what I feel in your casually bestowed gaze;
World, take all I have, all my everythings that are nothings
that I may glow with, in, and for you all my days.
