[title] => Mouthwatering Gift
[time] => 2016-06-20 18:35:38
[hometext] => As I get older, I enjoy small pleasures more
[bodytext] => MY toast is seared
Begs to be devoured
Fruit of the earth -
Aromatic, brown grains
Crusty, uneven
Spread light butter
Best with sweet, chunky strawberry jam
Savor each bite upon bite
Toasty, texture over tongue
The total taste
Teased flavor inhaled through nostrils
Swallow, bite to my heart’s delight
And think –
Ah, the wonderful tangible things;
More promises ahead
Such joy from such simple, splendid bread
Crunch, crunch
Satisfied for now with this abundance
Hardly can contain myself
Push aside those artificial, material treasures
Nothing compares to this remarkable mouth-watering
Healthy gift!
