enchained are we from birth to this moment late.
Lightest light, enshrouded, blurred in symbols past,
to cloud our mind to not discern the truth, at last.
Oh! what pains we embark to shovel under,
so that man see not the light, be not thunder.

What chains we wear, of air and words,
and so lay claim to deeds we thus partake,
war! oh war, this thing we are among, a fake,
thus men know not glory as it should be sung,
that life, life!, is the song, it ever is!,
that vibrato cliff of joy over which true souls have flung.

What wings so vast and strong
could lift to cliff that lover, minstrel, with heart of song;
Weightless, larger, as the sky, a soul in flight,
with kiss of life for sun or lunar night,
of love of night, unbound,
the soul lets, as a dream, the dark slide by;
views the ooze the many choose abide.
We be of earth, of clay; feet in dirt, burrs in hair,
the unbound soul can fly anywhere. Oh brightest dawn beyond our cranial gate,
enchained are we from birth to this moment late.

What wings so vast and strong
could lift to cliff that lover, minstrel, with heart of song;
Weightless, larger, as the sky, a soul in flight,
with kiss of life for sun or lunar night,
of love of night, unbound,
the soul lets, as a dream, the dark slide by;
views the ooze the many choose abide.
We be of earth, of clay; feet in dirt, burrs in hair,
the unbound soul can fly anywhere.
