a moment too soon

the numbers and lines
measure every advance
as if it matters
as he throws

a moment too late

none of it matters
not really

the cat still /*****/ses you off
along with the bills
and the throw you made
that missed

but your throw doesnt matter
your /*****/ up is taken onboard
the shoulders of the guy
that waits
steps
then throws

and magic happens
