[bodytext] => earth moving underneath my feet
a little girl on shaking ground
cracks appearing in the concrete
but you don`t look up at the sound
no one notices unspoken tragedies
and I didn`t speak up
so your distance altered my reality
how fast sadness sneaks up
we grow and everything changes
time-lapse videos of our lives
we learn how to re-arrange it
wonder how we even survived
ever-expanding fields of vision see more
than we thought possible
and suddenly the things we`ve been looking for
aren`t so improbable
earth moving underneath my feet
a young woman on shaking ground
flowers blooming in summer heat
now I see you coming around
they can`t understand our unspoken stories
now I see the echoes
of generations of unrealized glory
fields of hope decomposed
earth settling under our feet
I see you look up at the sound
brand new growth in the cracked concrete
finally finding common ground
