I am aware
I will be aware
the new world order is a scare

How can things be so
the way they are now
How can humanity be degraded
is it because to technology we bow

No use for hard work
College is now just a waste
Everything is handed to today’s youth
a cruel world is hard to taste

Time out was for kindergarten
but now it’s for college too
I am aware of this weakness
I’ve tasted the cruel world and had to chew

It is pretty scary
the direction things have gone
The left and the right only fight
and the innocent people play the pawn

It’s a minute to twelve
another world war looms, that’s the fear
President Trump is not to blame
his mission to fix America is totally sincere

This poem will be hated by some
even though my beliefs are not Left or Right
Let the haters hate
bringing all Americans together shouldn’t be such a fight

Let us no longer divide
let’s stop the racism and stand American strong
Let us protect our homeland
this my friends cannot be so wrong

I am aware
I will be aware
