So heres a toast to K-9 types: Hope you read something that you like!

Oh for shame no hall of fame for dogs in ’69. Our Lassie won the nomination, made the cut, first time!
Walt Disney’s inspiration for Lady and the Tramp, was his dog named Sunnee, a scruffy little scamp!

Ozzie Osborne wrestled with a coyote for his wife; It caught her pup, to eat it up, brave Ozzie saved its life.
Dogs can smell cadavers, (ewe!) underwater yet! And recognize lung cancer by the odor of your breath.

In Cormorant, Minnesota, the law can wag its tail! The mayor is a dog named Duke; and he will set your bail!
Cracker Jacks dog is “Bingo”; and that Chihuahua midget, Who sells us Taco Bell so wells a rescue mutt named “Gidget”.

Just like human fingerprints, you’ll find your dog all right; If you will take his nose print – no two are just alike.
Newfoundlands swim like fishes, so fast they’re hard to beat; The secrets in some extra skin, they all have four webbed feet!

If you have diabetes, dog owners have found, they can tell, by just your smell, when insulin goes down.
Our dogs know when were coming home; long before we are. They hear four times as far as us, and recognize our cars!

Shot in France in WWI this pup was 5 days old; A U.S. soldier took him home, but little did he know,
Hed be repaid for love in spades many times again. The soldier was Lee Duncan. The dog was Rin Tin Tin.

Loving dogs sneaks up on us, and though we didnt plan it, the U.S. owns more dogs than any country on the planet!
Greater love hath no man than that we give our creatures, and in turn dog lovers learn from one of lifes great teachers.
