the reputation
of curiosity
has a basis
of fact
if one allows
ones curiosity
to grow
if one let/'/s loose
the thoughts
of why
Then curiosity
like a snake
will slide under
what could be fake
to find the food
to feed ones mind
to feel
satisfied
with the reasons why
But there/'/s a price
one has to pay
for ones bubble
will quickly decay
And instinctively
we know
so the fetus
of curiosity
Is aborted
Dragged out
kicking and screaming
by it/'/s neck
vaccinated
against intent
to become nothing
but a shadow
Of Pretence
