I wonder if it is the way
that you put me down
since you left me
I got this hole in my soul

I am always chasing
the things I do not need
pretending to need nothing
but for ever out there searching
you were a spark in the darkness
and in your flame I ended up burning

I am a man yes I am
I can stand on my own
still you hurt me and you broke me
when you did me wrong
now I am stoned and alone

when I see you around
