[bodytext] => all the holes I’ve dug
and everything I’ve buried
truths I’ve been sweeping under the rug
it’s all deadweight I’ve carried
I can’t let it go
I can’t forget you
but we’ll never be the same
you can say it’s because I withdrew
but it’s just who you became
you cut me in pieces
forgot what I needed
‘til I broke down at your feet
you finally saw me bleed
is that what friends do?
there’s a hole inside me
since he’s been so far away
the pain of not being able to reach
god, I’d kill to touch his face
I wish he was here
cut myself in pieces
clinging tight to reasons
to keep myself together
but days go on forever
and I remember
these are graves I’ve dug
but it’s my hope you buried
the loss just takes my breath when it floods
I need someone to carry me
far away from here
