[bodytext] => Below the oceans basement, where unseen creatures keep,
dark liquid green turns black between pale beams of sunlight’s seek.
Safe they go who stay below their predator’s domain!
All make of skin, of shell and fin, contentedly obstain.
Unmindful of his mothers words, and longing for new sights,
A baby crust swam slowly up a shaft of swirling light.
Too bright to see his enemy, he still explores the dark;
safe from all temptation in the belly of a shark!
