I think of you and shed a tear
I miss you so and cannot sleep
I just wish that you were here

I go about my daily chores
I drop plates and burn myself
I cannot keep you from my thoughts
I can think of nothing else

I close my eyes and pretend
I dream of being with you
I sigh for when I open my eyes
I have tears,yet they're not new

I always have these little tears
I dry them,still they flow
I love you more with every day
I'm in love,don't you know

I write this poem so simply
I choose no fancy words
I pour my heart so freely
I hope that you have heard

I want to hold you in my arms
I want you to hold me too
I need to have you by my side
I am lost here without you
