Sitting Alone

Your sitting alone in this dark cold cell
When you'll die no one can tell
People are judging you on what they hear
I was always taught the innocent had nothing to fear
Twelve lonely people took his life in their hands
Wanted to play god and condemned this man
Didn't have evidence but were too blind
He doesn't have hope of any kind
What will they tell his son and his wife
The jury had nothing to lose so they took his life
He loved his family with all his heart
Twelve lonely people took that apart
