maybe I will too.
I've been doing this so long,
I even had you fooled.

I fake a smile when I'm sad.
Sometimes it lasts all night and day.
How much longer do I have to wait
for this feeling to go away?

I don't want to fake anymore.
I'm tired of this game.
I quit, it's over.
I never want to feel the same.

When can I go back to being happy,
like I was before?
How many more faked smiles
do I have to endure? Wake up in the morning,
put on a faked smile.
The world will think I'm happy,
at least for a little while.

If they believe,
maybe I will too.
