Being a good girl,
Never breaking the rules
I was looked up to,
And idolized
By a number of different fools

But now I got some
Indescribable
Things I wanna try
And I think for the first time,
I actually want to live
On the wild side

I wanna risk it all
And have a good chance
At falling on my face
Just to feel
The rush you get
When your heart begins to race

I wanna sneak out
Passed what it is law
And run screaming down the road
To feel for once,
Like I’m alive
And filling up my soul

If I were to be caught
Red-handed with
Nobody to break my fall
I’d just laugh it off
Cause I know
That I’m willing to risk it all
Just to live on the wild side [comments] => 4 [counter] => 154 [topic] => 21 [informant] => Schnikes13 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 3 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => Lifepoems ) Your Poetry Dot Com - Wild Side

I’ve spent my whole life
Being a good girl,
Never breaking the rules
I was looked up to,
And idolized
By a number of different fools

But now I got some
Indescribable
Things I wanna try
And I think for the first time,
I actually want to live
On the wild side

I wanna risk it all
And have a good chance
At falling on my face
Just to feel
The rush you get
When your heart begins to race

I wanna sneak out
Passed what it is law
And run screaming down the road
To feel for once,
Like I’m alive
And filling up my soul

If I were to be caught
Red-handed with
Nobody to break my fall
I’d just laugh it off
Cause I know
That I’m willing to risk it all
Just to live on the wild side
