The Jasmine Moon

Stepping onto a mound of sand with unclothed feet
As blades of emerald grass sweep across them
The soothing, frosty winds shower me with pebbles
I cast my eyes upon the night’s lambent pearl
The sky stretches with shards of sapphire
Echoing the moon’s lustrous aura
The water’s lathery waves bask in its glory
While aspiring doves encircle the stars
As I rinse my feet in the red ocean wine
Still staring at the full jasmine moon
The sky and waters mirror my star-crossed soul
Oblivious mind and spirit bleed
The blood-red sea embraces my soul
As sapphire shards rain down
The roaring tide subsides and my figure ebbs
Though the trivial mind wanders free
