And finally then,
In Florida they landed
And both took on new jobs.
Then they both married men
Who turned out to be slobs.
Even though this verse
Is not meant to sound "crass,"
They could have done much better,
For they both have lots of class.
Now the raising of children,
And the swift passing of time,
Has made them much closer
Than the words of this rhyme.
Now Mary and Bev
Are two special girls.
That is why their friendship
Is one of the best in the world.

Pookie and Hussey,
They are best friends.
In Colorado, Ohio, Nebraska
And finally then,
In Florida they landed
And both took on new jobs.
Then they both married men
Who turned out to be slobs.
Even though this verse
Is not meant to sound "crass,"
They could have done much better,
For they both have lots of class.
Now the raising of children,
And the swift passing of time,
Has made them much closer
Than the words of this rhyme.
Now Mary and Bev
Are two special girls.
That is why their friendship
Is one of the best in the world.
