Verse 1

Tell me a story, for tonight,
Something that won't, leave me like
He did when he said he needed me,
Wanted me, Loved me,
And lied.

Verse 2

What can my dream be, for tonight?
Something that I'd like, to deny,
Something of love, and another of hate,
And the rest,
Just a cry.

Chorus

Cos he left me for the woman,
In the night,
Said he'd wanted an adventure,
All his life!
And I guess he didn't find one,
With me
So me and my love, are...
History.

Verse 3

I wait, as my heart aches,
As the dawn breaks,
Like the crimson,
Torn to pieces in the sky,
You say, "don't
waste your life away
On a dream that, is destined to die"

Chorus

But he left me, for the woman
In the night,
Said he'd wanted, an adventure
All his life.
And i guess he
Ddn't find one with me,
So me, me and my love,
Are history.
