Through this window I see
Everything I ever wanted to be
Was on the other side of this window
It’s just this feeling of repression
That no one even notices
No one even cares

These emotions of failure within me
I’ve been brought right back to the start again
From these people I used to call “Friends”
I used to be just like them
On the other side of this window
For once I was on the inside
But as I look through the window-

I see my own reflection
And the glint of failure in my eyes of misery and shame
I’m brought right back to the start again
With this feeling of repression
That’s taking over me
Because everything I ever wanted to be

Looking from the outside
Through this window I see
Everything I ever wanted to be
Was on the other side of this window
It’s just this feeling of repression
That no one even notices
No one even cares

These emotions of failure within me
I’ve been brought right back to the start again
From these people I used to call “Friends”
I used to be just like them
On the other side of this window
For once I was on the inside
But as I look through the window-

I see my own reflection
And the glint of failure in my eyes of misery and shame
I’m brought right back to the start again
With this feeling of repression
That’s taking over me
Because everything I ever wanted to be
Was on the other side of this window
