It holds us down
From distances too far
It shines the glitter
In our eyes
Like the stars
We don't see no lies
We only smile
For its disguise
The Love that love does
When you cry
It seems to never go away
Or never die

You may think that they're the one
But like gambling
The odds are always on the house

When you cry
Hopefully you know why
Because there's no relationship
That doesn't end without wanting to die
Don't worry though
The stars will come back every night
And glow more brighter than the last
Till one night
You find your very best
Nothing will end
No one will die
You and your star
Will be happy for the rest of your lives

Lovely love like the stars
It holds us down
From distances too far

Like the stars
