cos the thought of you still makes me giddy like a child
i guess becos i have loved you for so many years,
through all the heartache and tears.
you are my soulmate, and will all ways be,
the only one who has that key.
though i will love again it will never be as deep,
cos part of my heart is yours to keep.
i think of all the long talks that we would share,
the silly things you did to show you care.
the intimates moments when we would become one,
and the beautiful feelings that linger when lovin is done.
they way you would look in to my eyes and tell me its true,
and i say what, and you whisper i love you.
i could do nothing to hide how loving you made me feel,
it all seemed so surreal.
you washed, cooked cleaned, and did laundry to,
damn i had the perfect man in you.
it was a beautiful thing while it lasted too,
but we didnt fall out of love i just out grew you.
but we parted friends and thats what is important to me,
maybe friendship was the end result of our destiney.
and i will always love you till the end of my time,
cos we shared the rarest love that was one of a kind..

i think about you and i still smile,
