A light shining bright through the storms in your life...
When I peered through those windows to your soul...
I was shocked to find... a lost, hungry, frightened child needing love
It was then... I realized...
I've just gotta let you know...

How much you've changed my life
How you've carried me away to another place... another time
How much this love is real I feel for you
This is what... I've just gotta let you know...
How much I love you so...

'Cause you're reaching out of the darkness of your life
Hoping for someone to catch you as you fall
Into the dark, lonely depths of despair
So you won't vanish into thin air
That's why...
I've just gotta let you know...

I'm not going anywhere...
I'll be right here waiting for you
To give you a hug when you need me to
To wrap my love around you
I've just gotta let you know...

But all I have to offer you are these few words of love
That I carry within my heart and the occassional hug
Words from the heart... words that build up... not tear apart
I've just gotta let you know...
These words of love for you are real

Love is not impossible
It can come from anywhere... be anyone
It will take ahold of your heart and carry you on it's wings
To new heights you've never dreamed
I've just gotta let you know...

All these things I ponder in my soul
Somehow, someway....
I've just gotta let you know...
Someday...

I've just gotta let you know...
