After The Next Hour

How sadness sets in
Mixed with pain and confussion
Where one day all things were fine. then by
The next hour, breaking down the mind.
Asking what went wrong? how could it go so
Far, gone?
By what crime committed? down what line
Before, so altered? did I deserve this
Hurricane triggered by a butterflies wing?
One day a house, a home. the next hour
You're gone. I'm gone and now alone.
When did it start to fade, was it really
There? was the emotion displayed true? or
Was it just an april fools thing?
Maybe the first was the butterflies wing.
And the hurricane came 2 months later.
To destroy it all.
