The Spackled Walls
Date: Thursday, 1st April 2004 @ 05:32:59 PM AEST Topic: Sad Poetry
Contributed By: Funny_Pants
Everlasting, sleepless fasting
Staring at the spackled walls
Living, dying but relying
on the endless restless halls
Ending, bending, high suspending
Bridges over learning walls
Meaning mattered to the tattered
children of the restless halls
Lying, dying, justifying
Writhing pain of fearless falls
Meaning nothing is your trusting
of my writing on the walls
Leaving, going, sleeping deeply
Eyes shut tight as my pen falls
Sleeping by the spackled walls
