Here I sit impatient
waiting for his love
water washes on windowpane
the telephone has yet to ring
and no letter have I received
my love do I wait in vain
Minutes last a lifetime
my heart it cries your name
thunder echos lightining strikes
Im reminded of what we had
before you let me waiting
with all your little tikes
