It made me hold onto you so tight,
I dreamt that you loved another,
You left me naked with no cover.

I know that it was just a dream,
But it was powerful, made my heart scream,
Since that night I’ve loved you more,
Than I thought possible before.

It scared me so much,
To think I’d never again feel your touch,
I won’t ever take you for granted,
Even though I know the love is planted.

If you & me went separate ways,
I’d sob my heart out for the rest of my days,
I love you & I always will,
Of your love I’ve not yet had my fill.

I never want to experience that again,
Although unreal it caused me pain,
The thought of you not by my side,
Hurt me so deep down inside.

I had a dream the other night,
It made me hold onto you so tight,
I dreamt that you loved another,
You left me naked with no cover.

I know that it was just a dream,
But it was powerful, made my heart scream,
Since that night I’ve loved you more,
Than I thought possible before.

It scared me so much,
